Beechworth Wine region video map
Just a little bit of news and a link to our regional video map.
It's little brother, the printed map version is available for purchase as well: it has topography on one side, soils and geology on the other with all the vineyards plotted accurately thanks to Big Brother (or rather Google).
News is Barry's latest sauvignon blanc should be available now: the ever consistent and appealing Sorrenberg sauvignon blanc/semillon. A lovely flavoursome, layered dry white wine.
Also, Keppel has released his powerful yet classy Savaterre 2010 chardonnay and pinot noir. Certainly the best Savaterre chardonnay yet (duh, all 2010 chardonnays from Beechworth are the best ones to date).
And lastly, check out our videos of our recent vineyard cycling tours. Yes we organise vineyard cycling tours on vineyard back roads that are not normally open to the public, to wineries that don't normally have cellar doors. We can do private/customised tours for groups of 8/10 or more, or join one of our public tours like this one reviewed by the Australian Financial Review.
